I think he’s often right in identifying a problem.
But he’s almost always wrong in deploying a solution.
I don’t know what a government commission will achieve with respect to college sports.

He was president of the US.
He wasn’t president of college sports.
He wasn’t president of Harvard University.
He wasn’t president of women’s bathrooms.
