I’m reading between the lines, but I believe that is what Dabo is saying to the SEC or Big 10.
Why not blow this D1 thing up sooner than later and let the big boys play semi-pro football?
NCAA has no teeth anymore. NIL and the portal has created a new universe. Letting the ACC hold some GOR over everybody needs to get a court date.

Yes you are wrong. Semi pro football league would destroy college football just like in college baseball. Totally against it. People want to see the best players play.
As for the amount of games. Simple, follow fcs formula. Max games played are 15. Eliminate the conference champion games. Really that simple.
