Clemson Speed...

This is a reoccurring concern of mine - during the great years, we just looked faster than the Ohio States, Oklahomas, Notre Dames and held our own (and then some) against Alabama. 40 times are difficult to research as I see times vary dependent on site. So, who are you thinking is the fastest players at the RB and WR positions this upcoming year - and who are you most excited to see demonstrate their speed?

Unsure about after his injury but Cole Turner is our fastest WR.
Unsure about RB, Phil is certainly not a burner but can break away if he gets the space. Jarvis Green maybe the fastest back in the room.

I'd bet on Eziomume being the fastest of the RBs. There really aren't any burners, I think all the RBs have pretty average speed, but Eziomume had some sub 11.00 sec 100m dash track times in high school.

One agile Dodge Mafah Ram in the backfield.
Everybody else is your basic slightly turbo-ed sedan.
No Lamborghinis....No Porcshes....No Ferraris.....No Bugattis.....No Challengers or Chargers.
Its all about execution.... first downs and touchdowns.

Stelato and Turner are both listed in the low 4.4's

Brown and Williams are in the 4.5 range.
Higgins, Williams, Ross, none were burners, but they could make contested catches. That is what we have been missing.

4.3 speed is pretty good right behind Wiggins.

Shipley.
Heavy footed.
He was moderately fast but subject to the shoe string tackle. When compared to someone like ETN, it is night and day. Of course, there are not many like Travis so that may be an unfair comparison.

Misun Kelly, TJ Moore and Bryant Wesco.
Think we'll see a lot of routes run down the field to spread teams out and run them wragged. They'll need to replace a linebacker with a safety/corner and they'll tire quickly of tackling Phil Mafah.

But last year I was shocked that we looked slower than Duke.
I never thought I would say that about a Clemson football team.
