Clemson men's basketball notched a third NET Quadrant 1 win last night, 72-67 over South Carolina, moving to No. 1 in ESPN's Strength of Record metric.

ESPN ranks the Tigers' overall strength of schedule 71st overall currently, with the non-conference at 161st. The Tigers are 29th in the site's BPI.

Per WarrenNolan, Clemson is up to 17th in the NET rankings and holds No. 1 spots for the Sagarin and KPI metrics.

But, as we saw last year, those Q3/Q4 losses are daggers. So, even if this turns into a Q3/Q4 win, it's at least a win and not a loss.

That part. I was impressed with the improvement in the lamecoots team. I felt like we were going to Brownell it up but the boys never gave up. I loved the little brother and who’s your daddy chants last night!

Agree. They can flat out shoot. The Gamecocks will win some conference games with the physical play and outside shooting.

TCU on Saturday is a quad 1 opportunity as well. They are #45 net and I think 1-50 is quad 1 for a neutral site.
