Chances Zac Brooks passes Hot Rod on depth chart?

Coaches are talking him up. Is that just to push Hot Rod? Haven't heard about his ball control issues from the coaches lately.

Won't happen by the first game

but I have thought all along that there may be a slow transition to youth at the RB position this season unless Rod really turns it on.

I feel that Hot Rod will start due to his experience, but Brooks will get just about as many carries, but won't technically be the "starter"

Agree and hope both will have spectacular years esp. Rod

since he is a Sr. and then Brooks follow through with Dye the next star running back I think. Nothing against other running backs, as this is just my opinion, and any of them that run really well get their carries with seniority counting.

I think that maybe the most talented RB on the team is unfortunately a freshman playing LB....

Dorian O'Daniel the kid is a killer running the ball. The high school he played football for is big time it isn't like he was playing for a 1-A type school he was putting up big numbers against excellent competition. Wouldn't mind if the coaches gave him a quick look at RB... I also think he is a great LB too, so I am fine where ever the coaches want him.

I thought it was interesting to hear Brooks described

as a "bigger body", a "bigger back", and a "more punishing runner" to quote coach Morris, when the concern with Brooks has always been his size and he has struggled so mightily to put on weight.
