Chad Kelly

Hello all, just signed up to Tigernet today and I'm pumped!! There is always a lot of valuable information regarding Clemson athletics on this site and I'm glad my friend told me about it. I've been a die hard Clemson fan for several years and am proud to say I will call Clemson my home for the next four years beginning next Fall. Any who, do you all wish Chad Kelly was still around? I know he left on a sour note, but I believe with him being next in line behind Watson we would defeat USuC quite handily on November 29th and salvage what has been a rather disappointing season to some. Just curious to hear your opinion on how the season could've been with Kelly still donning the orange and purple. GO TIGERS! BEAT georgia state!!

No need to talk about something that's irrelevant now. What if Watson started from day 1 and never got hurt? What if Sammy or Bryant came back for their sr. year anyways? It really doesn't matter.

Chad may have broke his leg filling in for Watson.

Coot. Pics of wife now. And whatever "Germans" means. Now you are initiated.
If he had not flaked, he would be starting. That does not mean he would have any success behind our bad O line though. We would be up the same creek with a different punhing bag.

Honestly I'd rather lose to the coots than have a punk like that on our side. That kid was just another Garcia. It did my heart good when I heard he'd never be rubbing his dirty paws on The rock ever again. We aren't gonna need the likes of him anyways.

All the students hated him, he acted like he was entitled to everything.
Congrats on getting in Clemson, you'll love it here. The best decision I ever made was to come here!

I might be in the minority with this, but.....
I would rather be struggling a little bit with an injured young star (Watson) and less than stellar QB (Cole) that are ALL IN for Clemson, than be 10-0 being led by a little PUNK (Kelly) who thought himself more important than the team!!!
Go Tigers!!!!

No one cares that you got yourself thrown out of Clemson. You have been a cancer on every team you've been on. Good riddance! Go away now.

Welcome to the Clemson Family

Few tips so that your pulse won't get hammered like mine did. A pulse is that percentage that shows on the left. You start with 100 percent and as people like or dislike your posts, your number will fluctuate. Folks on this site are quick to call you a coot (South Carolina acronym along with other names and adjectives that I cannot repeat without the admin getting upset). The reason of being called a dirt picker (another acronym) is for saying something negative about Clemson. Sometimes, it is factual but negative and your pulse can get hammered thinking that you are on them USUCK (another acronym) people.
As far as Kelly: I wish he was here with a better attitude. It is unfortunate that he was hot tempered and left the team or mutually agreed or whatever. There are other recent guys that did not work out as well and some were even more talented than Kelly. Mike Bellamy (spelling?) is a five star RB with all of the talent but he is gone as well. I learned to admire Dabo for taken tough stance on problem athletes. If Dabo is Fisher, we have all these guys playing for us but who knows what other issues may have risen due to the lack of team rules. Unlike Fisher, Dabo does not value winning at all cost.
Again, welcome you and hope to see many many posts from you and good luck on school.
P.S. if you do like my post, you can thumb my post (up) so that it will help my suffering Clemson pulse.

Welcome to TNet. Every so often a few people

suffer a mental meltdown on TNet, especially after a loss. But since I have been a member I have come to personally know some really great Clemson fans. Over all I think you will enjoy TNet with excellent discussion and some great debates and at the end of the day we all want to win games and support Clemson.
As for Chad Kelly it is tuff that he is no longer an option. When he came to Clemson my kid was a freshman. I told her that I just did not think he would make it at Clemson. This is before he stepped on campus. Through friends I knew Jim Kelly's close friend and just based on what I had heard Chad was a kid with an attitude and was difficult to coach.

Appreciate the opinions, folks! Just something I was mulling over today about what could have been with Kelly. Our future is bright at quarterback though!

Guys like that are toxic to a team and tend to cause more problems than it's worth.
