It's right in the middle of an important day for me. Should I tell the guy I'm a bit sore from working overhead 6 hours yesterday hanging and taping a sheetrock ceiling or focus on the days when I do nothing and the dizziness occurs?
Should I point out that I'm down to 220 and feeling good or want to try the procedure in which he reduces the viscosity of my blood forcing my heart to work harder and strengthen the weakened chamber to move the volume toward normal again?
I feel like blowing it off and cleaning the garage so I can start tearing this car down.

Except blowing it off.
I’ve got too much emotional collateral invested in this car for you to keel over before it’s done.
Take care of yourself

Over the years, I've been accused of delaying this because I thought it would...

keep me alive and several other expressions of dissatisfaction of the process. It took years to learn to become functional in the skills require to do all this work. I had never removed and replaced an engine/transmission combo while they remained joined. The thought that one just unbolts it and lifts it out is way over simplified. The risk of destroying the body was great since neither I nor my oldest son who helped had ever done it.
That's not to mention the long list of other subprojects which had to be learned. Soldering, spray painting, welding, sanding using dozens of power tools which can cause great damage to both human and auto bodies.
I had to create a torque tool to measure Ncm and set the friction of one steering gearbox bearing between 5 and 12 Ncm. You can buy one if you have $900 to spend but how you get a 46mm socket mounted on the torque wrench a dentist uses to screw in the metal implants for false teeth was beyond me.
I've been trying to rent a place to paint this car for over a year now and the guy who rented me his 900sf detached garage had just let me see the inside of it for the first time since I used it to change the engine/transmission. That was years ago.
If I don't die you will at least say, 'Well, he royally ###### it up but at least he finally wasted three grand painting it.'

The whole point of these types of projects is to learn new things and see if you can do it.
My wife used to get frustrated because I would never stick with a hobby or finish projects in a timely manner.
If you were 25 you would be crowd funding this and stretching it out even longer.

I regret that I didn't due to the extremely good pottery I created in the lab...

at Lee Hall. I looked at that potters' wheel and saw a good time everyday. I even took Josh, my oldest son to the lab with me after classes to let him give the wheel a turn. He loved it and we still talk about the experience.
Users were required to clean the wheel and any mess we made. I learned that the easy way to clean a wheel was to put a damp cloth in the center and move it slowly to the edge. I had a towel figuring Josh, being 7 y/o would make a mess. He did the cleanup and of course when he got to the wheel he mishandled the towel and the variable speed pedal that controlled the wheel.
I had my back turned when he screamed like one of his three sisters. When I turned around I saw him standing beside the wheel taking an askwhuppin by a wet towel wrapped about the wheel. It was full speed and must have startled the boy because he didn't move until I reduced the speed to zero.
Two guys came from down the hall to see what I'd done to a young girl. I was lmaf when they entered the lab. I might have had tears streaming from laughing so hard. Neither of them thought it was funny.
There must have been a class going on somewhere because one of them gave a shout about everything being alright.
You can't make this chit up!

I spent some time in that lab myself. Totally cracked up on this one:

To bring up at the appointment. That way you won't leave and say, "I wish I had mentioned xxxxx". Then get back home and get to work on that Benz.

Can I borrow a couple grand to buy car paint?
I'm going to remind him that I claimed I'd start this paint job come spring. I'm not going to tolerate him taking me off my feet. If he wants to experiment to make me healthier and it's low risk and low rehab I'll go along with it.
I feel like a million bucks. When he find out I worked overhead 6 hours yesterday and I'm not sore this morning he's going to take credit for me losing 30 lbs, walking a dozen miles everyday and working out doing productive work.
He needs to stay the hail out of my way.

I write everything down and ask my doc about it when I get my physical or when I see her for something else. I always have a history too because I keep it going.

My heart is find. There's no way I could up and down on a walkboard all day with a failing heart. I made 25 trips up and down a set of 9 steps to add to that.
I actually kept up with a Lowes worker who led me to a rare item which was a challenge to find. That doesn't sound like a big deal, I understand that. It's the first time in three years I could have done it.
I'm still losing weight but the progress is slower now that I'm working and my body's demand for energy is increased. I'd like to be at 200-205 before I start shooting basecoat.

Even if you've stayed in a Holiday Inn Express for more than 300 days/yr, listen to the ticker doctor not yourself, despite The HIE knowledge imparted to you.

I'm alive now because I'm very respectful of doctors but I'm also skeptic enough to respect common sense. If I have an argument I'm open to having it dismissed by those I respect. I really respect cardiologist.

There is no right answer to this. I agree that one cant turn himself over, 100%, to what someone else says. You have to live and make informed choices. And once in a while, one of those choices is, "I don't care what the risk is, I'm doing this." How to balance all that out, only the person doing it can say.

My doctor got the straight truth. He told me 'we did some head scratching to try and figure out what was best to help you with the dizzy spells. But, what is it they say, 'Perfection is the enemy of good?'
I said, 'Us unwashed masses say, 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.' ' He said 'That's how mama said it.'
So I proceed and today I proceeded to the second coat of mud (The first coat over the tape and did some preliminary bed coating to build up beside the buttjoints to level the crown and hide the fact that those joist had sagged and twisted from the moisture and heat over the last 20+ years.
Glen wasn't there so I had no access to the garage. This sheetrock will not be complete until I get a key to that garage and permission to set everything for disposal outside and the flock out of my way.
I feel like a million bucks so I'll probably be dead in a week or two. Don't grieve me.
