Saw that. That was after their SECOND 15 yard penalty. The announcers said they gave them 3 warnings before they threw the first flag.
What did they say they were throwing on the field?

I couldn't make it out either. Never seen a coach handed a mic and doing that from a sideline. I'm sure they are prepared for protester sit ins, streakers and everything else from those nut jobs. Welcome to the new ACC after dark.

Apparently some people in the student section were throwing their stunt cards on the field. Under each seat is a pack of colored paper cards that they use to make big pictures or spell things out, like so:

I've seen paper airplanes thrown from the upper deck make it onto the field at Death Valley. Not in protest of course, but just to see if it would make it.

What were the fans unhappy about? I saw the plea to stop but not what prompted the rowdiness. Presumably they were unhappy with the refs
