It’s not how many mistakes you have, as much as it is being able to overcome the mistakes. Tiger hit bad shots all the time, but he was able to overcome them. Cade threw an interception to end his previous outing, but he smoked UNC, after not playing for four weeks. UNC scored easily on their first drive, but found it difficult to put more points on the board. Stuff happens, but it’s always how you respond to the adversity.

If Cade has a bad game it is because of poor play calling. That is the narrative behind 50% of teams on any particular game day because that’s how many lost. And then sometimes it’s because of referee’s. Take your pick.

So not all good or bad games are created equal. Is it a bad game like Pitt a few years ago where we move the ball down the field but have bad turnovers? Or is it a bad game because we go super conservative trying not to "get the kid killed" and run the 3&out offense.
Truth be told if I'm Streeter I treat this like Cole Stoudt game in 2014 vs. Oklahoma. More motions, get the ball out of Cade's hands quickly and into your playmakers hands and let them make plays. He has a chance to really head into the off-season with massive momentum and determine what next season will look like.
If Clemson can come out and move the ball, get back to having fun, running the Clemson offense, not wearing our defense out, not only will they have a great chance of winning but you can attract some players in the portal that want to play with Cade, along with potentially bringing some defensive players back next year that want to make a legit run for a championship and end their time off right.

He may not produce against TN. I have high hopes for Cade and believe he will do well. However, he is young and inexperienced and is bound to make mistakes. Trevor had bad days, so did DW. If Cade's bad day comes at TN then so be it. He has a full offseason ahead of him to practice with the 1s.
Though I am sure there will still be the loud minority that bashes him as they did DJ. That's going to happen regardless of team or player when someone messes up.
