Let the players show their emotion.

For those who don’t like it…. If you were 20 years old, you have grinded all your life to play college baseball and got Clemson, and you hit a home run to give your team the lead in the super regionals….

You wouldn’t express emotion?

I think it’s merely impossible to not let these guys show their energy. Let them. It energized the game.


There is a line where it stops. The Louisville player who talked sh** to each of our infielders after watching a home run for 10 seconds is excessive.

But a bat flip and getting around the bases without saying anything is natural

Why do we give a #### so much how people react and create rules to make players act like robots. Geez, can we not bring sports back like it was intended. Bat flip or spike. How freaking cares.
We gonna kick a player out of the semi final and not allow him to play the next day for spiking a bat?

Because in life we have to learn how to control ourselves. Why can’t we act like we been there before. I love Coach EB, but it starts with the head coach and we can’t have guys being thrown out of games and then suspended and we just blame the umpires. With that said I do believe theses umpires at the super regional were a little power hungry or felt like they had to do something since everyone was warned. I believe Clemson baseball is in a great spot and about to begin a long and strong successful run and I can’t wait to watch it.

The bat flip was not penalized but it was a bat throw and spike.

Correct, but it was at his own teams dugout where he was also yelling at in celebration and not towards the opposing Teams dugout. If it was I could see a kick out of the game if that is the rule.
