Baseball Season Tickets for next year?

My son is a rising Sophomore and has decided he wants to purchase season baseball tix next year instead of sitting/standing in the student section. Obviously the ticket office is a little busy right now, so I'm hoping someone on here can explain how season tix work for baseball?? Is there a certain IPTAY level required to even purchase them? Obviously he knows he'll have to join at some higher level, but we're wondering HOW high he'll need to go? And how much are season tix for basic infield seats? Thanks for any advice you can give us!

I just went through the IPTAY benefit list for each level. Baseball and Softball Season ticket priority is not listed at any level which indicates that the demand has not reached stadium filling levels for those sports. Regardless, I'm pretty sure there is a high dollar waiting list for anything behind home plate. First and third base lines should be doable at around the Tiger ($1,700 per year) level.

Call the Iptay office & ask. They’ve been very helpful when I’ve had similar questions. I believe that new ticket request fulfillment is based on giving level then points within the giving level like is done for football.

If you want infield buy from someone who has tixs already.

If you want infield tixs, buy from someone who already has seats. My friend got new tixs this year @ Howard level. During selection time, only availability was Chapman Grandstand and visitors side infield.
