ACC Softball Seeding Update

Virginia Tech has lost the first 2 games of the series to FSU, meaning that Clemson will be the #2 seed in the ACC Tournament next week. They will get the winner of Virginia/Louisville as it currently stands.

CONFIRMED: (2)Clemson will take on the winner of (7)Virginia and (10)Louisville in the quarterfinals. The game is Thursday at 5 pm on ACCN.

Let me congratulate this softball team for an awesome season & taking a rocky start of the season & building from that into what is now a very good dangerous team at the end of the season. Also, let me officially apologize to this team! Early in this season I wrote this team off & thought they would struggle to be a .500 team. Man I couldn’t have been more wrong! So glad I didn’t know what I was talking about. Great job by this coaching staff. By far Rittman’s best coaching job at Clemson. Lastly, these players continued to get better & better as the season played out. Great job. Go Tigers!
