ACCOMPLISHING GREATNESS

The ACC has won 27 NCAA team titles over the last four academic years (2021-25), the most of any conference in its respective league-sponsored sports.

Before this season, the ACC won seven or more national titles in each of the last three years, marking its best run in conference history.
In 2022-23, the ACC won the most NCAA championships of any conference with a league-record nine.
In both 2021-22 and 2023-24, the ACC won seven NCAA championships.


This year, the ACC has won four NCAA team titles, giving the league 27 since the start of the 2021-22 season.

The Atlantic Coast Conference has embarked on the second year of its “ACCOMPLISH GREATNESS” creative campaign, unveiled on August 30, 2023. The campaign continues to showcase the ACC's outstanding achievements in both athletics and academics through a series of powerful multi-sport advertisements, highlighting the conference's success across all sports during the academic year. National Champions: Wake Forest Wins 2025 NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship

Top-seeded Wake Forest, the 2025 ACC Regular Season Champions and ITA National Indoor Team Champions, defeated No. 2 seed and the 2024 NCAA Champion TCU, 4-2, on Sunday, May 18, to capture the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Championship in Waco, Texas. This marks the second NCAA team title for the Demon Deacons’ men’s tennis program, with their first coming in 2018. It also represents the 11th NCAA team championship in Wake Forest athletics history. (Release)



ACC Network’s Comprehensive Coverage of Spring Championship Season with the Crowning of 11 ACC Champions through May 24

ACC Network dives into the spring championships season with comprehensive live event and studio coverage through May 24. Champions in nine different sports – men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s outdoor track & field, rowing, and men’s and women’s lacrosse – will be crowned on either ACCN or ACC Network Extra (ACCNX), ACCN’s digital platform available to authenticated subscribers on the ESPN App. ACCN will also provide comprehensive coverage of the softball and baseball championships, with the title games airing on ESPN/ESPN2. Football

The 2025 ACC Football Championship Game will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 6, at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, on ABC. The league’s football championship game will showcase the top two teams based on regular-season conference winning percentage. (Release)
Television designations for seven marquee ACC football games in Week 1 of the 2025 season were announced Tuesday, May 13, as part of the ESPN and Disney Ad Sales Up Front presentation. This year’s opening slate of full competition delivers five straight days of ACC Football from Thursday, August 28, through Monday, September 1, offering fans an exciting and action-packed start to the college football season. The ACC announced that the 2025 ACC Football Kickoff event will once again be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, the home of the ACC, on July 22-24 at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown. The event will feature all 17 football teams, with ACC Network providing coverage throughout all three days, including live interviews with head coaches and student-athletes, press conferences and more. Additional information on credentials, media schedules, student-athletes attending, and other logistics will be announced in the future. (Release)
ACC Football is set to dominate Friday nights this fall, with a league-record 12 games scheduled on Fridays. The specific game times and television networks will be announced at a later date. No other conference has more scheduled Friday games than the ACC. (Release)

Women’s Soccer

Volleyball

ESPN Events announced the inaugural “Showdown at the Net”, which is scheduled for September 9–10, 2025. The event will showcase 16 of the 18 ACC volleyball teams competing against teams from the SEC. (Release)
Current Louisville middle blocker Cara Cresse and outside hitter Chloe Chicoine, as well as SMU setter Averi Carlson, were named by USA Volleyball as three of the 18 athletes who will train with the 2025 Women's U23 National Team for the NORCECA U23 Pan American Cup, July 25-August 2 in Leon, Mexico.

Women’s Basketball

31 former players from current ACC schools made opening day rosters in the WNBA. Las Vegas has the highest number of ACC players with five. (Release)

USA Swimming announced this week that Braden Holloway, NC State’s head coach, has been appointed as the head coach for both the men's and women's swimming teams at the 2025 World Swimming Championships. The 2025 USA Swimming National Championships are scheduled to start on June 3 and will conclude on June 7 in Indianapolis, Indiana. (NC State Release)

Baseball

The 2025 ACC Baseball Championship will crown its champion on Sunday, May 25, at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, North Carolina. Georgia Tech and Clemson won quarterfinal games on Thursday, May 22, to advance to Saturday’s semifinals. Duke will face Florida State on Friday at 3 p.m. ET, while North Carolina will face Boston College at 7 p.m. ET with trips to the semifinals on the line. (Championship Info)

Florida State’s Alex Lodise was named the D1Baseball Midseason Top Player and the Perfect Game Midseason National Player of the Year.
Nine ACC shortstops were named to the Brooks Wallace Award Midseason Watch List, which ranks second among all conferences.
Eight ACC relief pitchers were named to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Midseason Watch List, which ranks second among all conferences.
Four catchers from the ACC were added to the Buster Posey Award Midseason Watch List, including Clemson’s Jacob Jarrell, Duke’s Macon Winslow, Louisville’s Matt Klein and Stanford’s Charlie Saum.


Men’s Golf

Five ACC teams punched their tickets to the 2025 NCAA Men’s Golf Championships, set for May 23-28 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
