You don't get calls when you don't attack the basket.
I think he just tells his players to shoot 3s and Brown L crosses his fingers that they go in.
He really has no other plan of execution.

63.4% of our shot attempts last night were from 2 point range compared to 61.7% YTD; yet we attempted 93.4% fewer free throws. Three point shooting was not the driver of the significantly fewer free throw attempts.

Duke's free throws in 1st half were during their shots they put up not during the bonus. Clemson wasn't getting fouled on shots. If it was like 30 something fouls shots to less than 10 I could see the disparity
In other words that is not why they lost. PJ Hall needed to hit more of his shots. Also, Duke executed in the last few possessions. Clemson did not.
