12 days ahead of you on the quad flu for the seasoned citizens over 65. I am still erect which is always a nice thing in more than one way. The updated COVID vaccine was not available on 9/7/23 and I'm not sure it is available as of today.
However, I don't plan on getting this vaccine despite having had 4 jabs. This updated vaccine was given emergency use authorization which makes no sense to me as we are no longer in a declared emergency.
Dr Marty Makary a professor and MD on staff at Johns Hopkins revealed Moderna gave this updated vaccine to 50 people 4 months ago with one adverse event which required medical attention but the reason was not disclosed. He further reveals Pfizer has NO human data but did test the updated vaccine on 10 mice.
Yet we are being advised to roll up our sleeves and take this vaccine. The CDC is recommending everyone ages 5 and older receive one dose of this new vaccine. For children ages 6 months-4 years who have never been vaccinated for COVID, the recommendation is to receive either 2 doses of the new Moderna vaccine or 3 of the Pfizer. For kiddos who received a prior COVID dose they will need 1 or 2 doses of Moderna or Pfizer depending on how many prior doses they received.
This is madness.
The admonition of following the science seems to have been abandoned and also that of first do no harm.
Yeah, I know I should maybe have shifted this to the COVID page.
