According to his twitter he went straight to Georgia after the spring game. Can't read too much into it, I'm not sure if that was scheduled publically or not but I still think UGA is going to be hard to beat with him. Hope I'm wrong.

Normally I would say that the fact he can't seem to stay away from Athens is a bad omen for Clemson. But XT was in Columbia quite often and look what he did !

yeah I had that thought as well and is why I'm holding out hope for him. This is the one guy I believe we would hold a scholarship for until NSD but he is committing in June. That is the only part that worries me, UGA seems to have a stronghold without much time left. He doesn't seem like the type to flip either after committing. He has kept his recruiting pretty close to the chest. And does the kid ever smile? I might be completely off but he didn't look excited to be there in all the pics I saw. Again, limited perspective and facts on my part. A guess at best.

yeah I figured the same thing. Can't blame Kirby for capitalizing on that either before he can process everything. All is fair in recruiting and war, unless you're a gamecock hahaha

Could be a silent commit to Dabo for now and he thought it would be nice of him to go and let the Georgia coaching staff know. Would he a huge pickup. Imagine if we pulled him, Carman, Henry, and Wynn!

Many folks saiid XT was a coot lock. That turned out ok.
I'm just happy he and his mother were on campus. We have a chance now. Great atmosphere. Beautiful weather. And, much closer to home than Athens. Championship rings, Oculus power and seeing TL and XT already committed has to have an affect.

Agree as well...
Purely from systematic stand point though...Zamir is a spread offense RB...I'm not sure that he'd be properly utilized in that pro-style...

Sometimes a recruit wants to get another quick assessment from the 2 schools they are down to. Like, "ok I just came from Clemson and it felt great.....so go back to Ga and see if it really outweighs what I felt at Clemson" type of thing. A better comparison between 2 schools can sometimes be better decided one right after the other. We'll see what happens.

He would be a perfect back in our power spread attack. Unfortunately Georgia has a reputation for producing running backs. Did we impress his mother enough yesterday to give a Clemson an edge? I hope we changed both of their minds.

Here's my take.... He has been to UGA multiple times this year, passed right by Clemson and didn't have the time to stop by Clemson coming or going to UGA, despite driving right past the campus. Now, we get one weekend to sell Clemson to him and the family, and we don't even get the weekend, just one day really. He cuts our weekend short so that he can go to UGA. Don't think we are getting this guy.

He may just love Clemson for all we know , and be visiting UGa to say good try .
Dabo has a way , and remember...XT , according to about 70% of TNet was a Coot with a bullet .
You can never discount Dabo Swinney in the recruiting game , or buy into appearances for appearances sake.

I hope you are correct, but I can't see it. I didn't think we would get XT, granted, but at least XT seemed to express serious interest in Clemson during the recruiting process. I am not seeing that with White. That's OK, Clemson will find another. This year could end up the best year ever in recruiting for Clemson, so I will remain excited for those that do chose Clemson.

Join the other recruits on the field pre game
Sat in the stands with his family, not with other recruits
One pic with him with hoodie tied around his head
Who knows, maybe that's his personality
Not saying wouldn't love to have him, but the attachment to Athens is prettt clear.
Yesterday visit was to take grandpa to see Athens, don't think he and momma were trying to show up Dabo or our spring game.
