Thanksgiving today. They made sure we had a traditional Thanksgiving meal. We had a nice juicy Turkey, giblet gravy, dressing, mac&cheese, deviled eggs, etc… I mean the works. Something they did out of the Christian kindness.

My adversity started in late March when my Dad passed away. In May I had to have major surgery on my right hand from a dog bites from my Best Pal. He was blind and in declining health. I thank God for 17 great years from a true friend. I was in the hospital for 5 days. Then thinking I had food he bite me again. I had to stay another 5 days in the hospital in September and had major surgery on my little finger. My best pal passed away shortly after I came home from the hospital. About 3 weeks later I tripped over a concrete parking block because of the poor lighting. I sustained a concussion, bruised / sprained ribs, a bruised and sprained right shoulder and sustained the same injury to my right knee. It was then I injured my still bandaged right hand. It very likely I will regain full use of that hand. Once again I found myself at the hospital. I started to by a Time Share at the hospital. lol 😂 😂😂. The worst part of the story is that after taking care of my ex- mother-in-law in her Last Will and Testament she left me her condo. Because my name was not on the Deed, the bank refused to deal me so we lost our home to. It’s sad that Vulture’s continue to look for those who are unaware of their situation as I was or until it is too late for those struggling financially will not be prayed upon. The Ukrainians who purchased my condo refused even my offers allowing them to make a profit. The tragic part is due to my hand surgery I may never do I had very little time.and I could not afford the

Through all of this God was with me all the way. My Gamecocks friends stepped in to help in many ways. And it’s why I love Dabo, his staff and the players. God continues to teach me that it’s just a game.

Through it all God has made sure I had food and shelter. I ask that you pray for me as I recover so I can go back to work. I wanted to share my story for a couple of reasons. One is to tell people that Jesus Christ and his father God are truly real. The second reason is about Saturday night’s game. A game I want to win very much. But I wanted to remind myself that Win or Lose Saturday night, it’s just a game there are so many other things that are more important in Life.

I wanted one last chance to say thank you to a terrific Gamecock Family who has helped me and my daughter through so much. I ask that you continue to pray for my hand and that I will get full use of it back.
