Why have Clemson fans become a bunch of emo pansies?

Clemson fans used to never care about what the media says. Now Clemson fans hang on every word on what somebody in the media states. The traditional Clemson fan attitude towards the media has always been "who cares what they think". Now we have a large number of fans getting upset over what a person who was on The Bachelor says. Clemson fans sounded like coot fans in the way they got upset over what a 5th rate analyst, in Jesse Palmer, said about us.
Our fans used to appreciate our players. Now we have fans who think Tajh is terrible just because we aren't going to win the national title. Even though with Tajh as our QB we had our first 10 win season in 21 years, first ACC title in 20 years, and first 11 win season in 31 years. On top of that with Tajh we got wins over VT, LSU, Auburn, and UGA. 4 teams we hadn't beat in a long time before Tajh came along.
Seriously fellow Clemson fans, get a pair of cajones. You're acting more pink, than all the pink being worn by football teams this month.

Because the kids that we are trying to recruit are greatly influenced by ESPN and social media. Ignore it at your own peril.

ESPN has had zero impact on our recruiting. Year in and Year out we are consistently getting top 15 recruiting classes. Last time I checked the number one QB in the nation coming out of High School is enrolling at Clemson for the spring semester. I'm glad all of these great recruits we are getting, don't hang on every word ESPN says like you do.

it's not about what people think and it's not about ESPN. I could care less about Jesse Palmer.
what I do care about is squandering huge opportunities, getting curbstomped on national TV and not being able to get all of these top recruits prepared on a weekly basis. we could have yearly top 20 classes and yet get embarrassed like we did last night vs FSU,WVU and the yearly losses to the coots. That's what I care about.
The ### games that DON'T happen to other schools. do other schools have losses, sure. but not like this, show me a #3 team that got rolled by 37 at home.
ESPN isn't picking on us, we EARNED that cliché. and we expanded upon it last night

you seriously don't think we earned the cliché?
squeaking out a win against an overrated UGA doesn't come close to offsetting the embarrassment of last night.
nor does a nice comeback against LSU offset the Orange Bowl debacle.
any ground we had made up in respect in the past year, we lost last night. so please don't whine if we get picked over in a bowl or in the polls, because they won't overlook last night as just a "L".

waaaaaaaaaa, all Clemson fans are emos. no there not all just delusional koolaid drinkers. reality set in last night and they finally realized that the Orange Bowl debacle can happen at any time with this staff.
I truly thought that there was no way all aspects of our game could take a huge dump at one time. yet last night proved that we still have problems that may never be able to be eliminated with this staff.

last night. What I'm talking about isn't something isolated to fan message boards. If it was I wouldn't even post about it. It's what I see in real life. Sorry, but a lot of Clemson fans don't wear their colors like Clemson fans used too. It's sad to say this but a good number of Clemson fans act more like coot fans than Clemson fans. And that's what I see in real life, not what I see here on the message board.
