A few facts about the SEC ESPN won't tell you

During the season the SEC west only played 4 non conference power 5 teams. Alabama played West Virginia, Auburn played K State, Arkansas played Texas Tech and LSU played Wisconsin. The SEC as a whole was 11-11 against other power 5 teams. Against good power 5 teams (8 or more wins) the SEC was 5-10. ESPN gives you a false illusion telling you they just beat up on each other. Who knows if anyone was any good to begin with. Of the 5 good teams the SEC beat 3 of those wins came from the SEC LEast. In comparison the ACC WAS 11-14 against other power 5 teams, but 7-9 against good power 5 teams, including a win over a finalist for the whole enchilada. The ACC WAS 5-3 against the mighty SEC.
But never let facts get in the way of a good argument.
One other thing since Urban Meyer has been at Ohio State he is 37-3 2 of the three losses to ACC teams.

Yeah the best conference this year was probably the PAC 12.

I went back and looked at every SEC teams schedule and got my numbers. They played against 11 power 5 teams in the bowls.

ESPN has to go all out trying to promote their product

This has to be the truth it was posted on the fighting coot forum.

And just in case you want to know who is still the best conference in college football, here's the 2014 football season OOC record against major conference teams (eg FCS Cupcakes omitted)
1. SEC 34-7
2. PAC12 23-6
3. BIG 33-14
4. BIG 12 15-7
5. ACC 28-14

teams. The SEC plays a ridiculous OOC schedule then leans on the ESPN propagated BS to paint a false picture. The more teams that are allowed in the playoffs, the more the crap will be exposed.
