We could have got a big win tonight. At least we played like we owned the game until 4 minutes to go.

Typical Brad Brownell show. Good game until 3-4 minutes left in the game.

Agreed. No points given for moral victories. Facts are: Brad has opened the door to Jr college players, and questionable transfers that has long been against the Clemson philosophy. He argued to be competitive m, he had to have the same resources as the other guys. Well, this is year 3. He had one NCAA bid after “selling out” to the Jr College players. He needed to recruit better. Clemson is no longer the hard sell it has been. I have long thought he has outlived his chances to build a competitive program. I know my opinion is my own. I was one of the first calling for Ken Hatfield’s job after he took the best team in the country to a 10-2 record. My loyalties were questioned, as they have been since I have been calling for Brownell’s job. Although, no one can convince me that they love Clemson University more than I do. I was born a Clemson fan. Suffered through the lean years of the 70’s. Basked in the glory of coach Ford. Suffered through the late 80’s and 90’s when we were mediocre at best. During the golden age of Clemson University, it should be easier to recruit competitively in baseball and basketball like we do in football! That said, Goooo Tigers! Beat the Shamecocks by 100!

What Junior College players? Only one and it was Legend Robertin, but he was eligible before from his HS transcript so it was not going to matter. I am on the fence with Brad and his window is definitely getting smaller if it's going to work out here. Has maybe at most a year or two to turn it around, but your argument is poor.

That ending was awful. Frustrating.

That ending, unfortunately, is what I have come to expect from a Brad Brownell coached team. Also unfortunately, my expectations in that area continue to be met.

I think that is the maddening part. Quit teasing us. Just get blown out from the beginning. Quit getting my hopes up.

I agree totally. What a poor way to end a game and I'm afraid that represents the team we have. With the extra experience we got this summer . . we shouldn't be like this. Oh wait, lets give Brad time to get his own player in here. Then it will be better. No .wait, these are his players.

Our young team played a competitive game against a top 25 team that has more experience than we do, and you use our close loss to them as a reason to continue your diatribe against our coaches and players.
It's sad that you focus on losing this close game, and are unable to focus on the close games we've already won this year (e.g., TCU two nights earlier).

Experienced pt. guard would have insured a win. I think this team will jell esp. with 2 injured players returning. Last year, we had no leader like Amir!
