I mean I’ve heard Faxon fill for Mickey, Brad, Qualk over the past year or so. I think he’s got a good radio personality. Definitely has strong opinions. Overall I think the show will be decent. I try to listen in when there’s college football talk. Since I listens to the podcast I just skip the stuff the conversations I don’t care for. He loves NBA which I don’t so I definitely skip those conversations.

Podcasts are definitely the way to go with WCCP. Spotify is probably the best service. That way you can skip all the commercials, all the "let me tell you about my friends from...", and all the uninteresting segments.

That’s four hours. Equals 240 minutes. How many of those minutes are spent talking about sports. I’m so tired of “we have to break (meaning for commercial(s)” but before that let me tell you about….. Finally when he comes back on he and Ramona talk about a non sport subject. i.e. Chief Osceola’s head. My biggest complaint is when he is going to give us his Top 25 on anything. It takes four days minimum.

I really don't listen to that much radio, but if the commercial breaks are anything the way they have all but completely taken over the TV programs. With every TV program regardless of the network, if it's a 30 minute to 1 hour program, commercials use up as much time as the program you're watching, and I hate them so much that I will hit the mute sound on every commercial...

I mostly like Walt, but that's a very good point. Sometimes the funny, non-sports related stories can be entertaining, but when he goes over the top with that it does get very frustrating. Especially given how much time is already taken up by commercials and endorsements read during the actual segments.

I love it tbh, but I'm probably younger than a lot of people here. I also enjoyed Brad, but it's nice to have someone energetic. He reminds me of a younger Qualk. Faxon is a kid, he literally just graduated college, so it's gonna take some time to find his path.
