Dropped passes

I think Cade had 2 passes dropped last night and was 20 of 24. Pretty good considering he did not play 2/3 of 4th quarter. Dabo pulled him not to give Hunter some time since he sure did not do it for Cade all year but he knew a few more touchdowns and he looks even more ridiculous to his team and fans. Come on Dabo homers let’s hear it ?

His stats would’ve been better has he had the first 2 drives to start the game too. However tell me a game that we had a comfortable enough lead to put the back ups in?

Pretty sure all of his incompletions last night were drops that were on the money

I think the one to the end zone before halftime and Potter’s field goal was a touch under thrown. But a magnificent night for our young QB no doubt.

Nah. There were 3 drops of the 4 misses. One drop was not on the money but was catchable (the pass down the middle to #0). He then underthrew a deep ball on the right sideline to Ngata. That one was just a miss. But some fantastic precision.

Was thinking the same. Dabo pulled Cade way too early in the 4th quarter.
Really do not understand what the H Dabo is doing with DJ/Cade situation. So weird.

Get backups some snaps in a championship game…

keep our new starter out of harms way when we are up by 4 scores late. Seems like a win/win.

That’s I was thinking too. On the other hand, new starter needs more time to play with the team. And Cade never gave 10 min trash time throughout the season. That’s why I said Coach’s decision is weird, not consistent.
Anyway, enjoy the win and hope for the best.

Even Dabo was shocked at how smooth Cade operated. I mean until he turned him lose how would he know? He realized that with Cade, 12 wins is very possible. Cade was running around with a 4td lead. No reason to keep him in and Hunter returned to Clemson' so it was a nice gesture to see him get some snaps. That was a great way to end his story. I loved that ending!!!

We won the ACC…

Defense played great. Offense played great. Lots of 2nd and 3rd stringers got playing time in a championship game, something they’ll never forget. Celebrate or don’t, but it feels better to be happy.

Everyone is happy. Happy that we found the QB that has been sitting on the bench the whole year. It didn't even look like the same team once Cade got on the field. He even made the back ups look good and hooked up with one for a 68 yard pass play to the 1 yard line. All the receivers looked a step faster - even Drew Swinney. Gee, if B Collins had been available, and Cade played the whole game, we would have been back to Trevor Lawrence numbers. And no I am not saying Cade is TL - simply better than the option we kept going to because a line had been drawn in the sand.

she dealt with wooder-coulders like me at most every turn.
If I'd worried about that and not the incredible times we shared, I'd have been miserable too.
