A movement centered around selfishness and disregard for others would act this way on the water. Who would have thought.

I found the smaller boats sinking amusing at the Trump boat parades. Haven't felt any other emotions towards that boat parade or others.
Are you done trying to project things that aren't reality?

Look, the boat parades clearly irritate a lot y’all, you included. Much more so than the riots, it seems. You’re not merely amused, you clearly hate the people taking part in them. It’s been evident for months now.

In someone actually mad at them?

I mean, here? They're more of a source of ridicule (especially with the latest sinking) and just more evidence of the strange, abnormal, unhealthy worship of a man over country.
I think everyone here has universally condemned rioting and looting and YES, of course, those are much, much worse than having a boat parade.
I think part of the problem with the boat parades is some people here think they're good things. They're not.

Why does it have to be worship?
Sep 8, 2020, 1:31 PM
|
|
why cant it be, "hey we are pumped for the election and we want Trump to win! Since all the media does is bash and tell lies and constantly try to impeach him, lets all get together and show our collective support."
What is wrong with that and how is that worship. Cause that is whats happening.

When a group is so infatuated with a man that they organize massive boat parades to fly his flag, that's worship. And apparently now so out of hand, boats are sinking.
This didn't happen with Obama, Bush Jr., Clinton, Bush Sr., Reagan. What Americans should do is recognize a president is a man with flaws. You might like a lot of what he does; you might dislike a lot. But you don't worship him. You don't fly giant flags with his name on it in lieu of the American flag. That flies in the face of what has been important to American democracy: Be critical of your leaders, support them where needed, but recognize they are just human.
What's wrong with doing it? History is filled with leaders who were worshiped in such fashion, and I can't recall many examples that turned out well.

Please. It hasn't been done before. Nobody was flying Obama flags from their homes. People weren't having Bush boat parades. Are there images of people wrapping themselves in Reagan flags at gatherings?
What's happening with Trump is unlike anything we've seen in America, and it isn't healthy.
Sure, there were people who gave too much love to the likes of Obama, Bush, etc. But no group has been this fervent, hostile, or blindly loyal to president than this minority group of Americans.
Its a think called google champ.
Just LOL there, bruh.

in many ways. What they spend their money on, how they spend their time, who they tell their friends about, or what they converse about, who or what they advocate for, what they build their identity around, etc.
For many of these people, there is one man that dominates many of those parts of their lives, and it ain’t Jesus. They’re not flying Christian flags, or posting on Facebook about Jesus or his teachings, they’re not talking to their friends about Jesus, but instead they worship Trump, and have built their identity around being a Trump supporter. That’s not just being “pumped” about Trump, that’s worshiping him.

they are, because they're mad about everything regarding Trump. They have been for years now.
I think if you talked to most of those folks, you'll find it doesn't have much to do with Trump as a person, it's more of a statement against the growing progressive cult that has become increasingly vocal in this country.
It's not all that different from 2016, really.

have you noticed how most the progressives are just plain ugly? Scrawny men, most look like chicks...the chicks look like dudes, earrings all over the place, daddy issues screaming from their little mouths. They are really an ugly group of folks. I would be mad too if I came out that ugly and then, for probably the right reasons, given up on by society.
I bet they are pumped for cooler weather, as they can bring out the dusters.
