Clemson ACC Baseball Championship advancement scenario now

With 6-seed Boston College taking care of 10-seed Virginia Tech this afternoon, ACC Baseball Championship Pool C comes down to the 3-seed Clemson and BC winner on Friday at 11 a.m. (ACCN).
That victor heads to the ACC semifinals Saturday for a 5 p.m. matchup with the Pool B winner (Virginia, UNC or Georgia Tech). The ACC final is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday (ESPN2).
Clemson gets a warmup game of sorts versus the Hokies at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Durham (ACCN).

That way could've dialed in w/ beating Tech & wrapping up a semifinal slot early.
Wonder how the rotation will be handled. Do we use a midweek guy against the Hokies & save a weekend rotation starter for BC since that seems to be the game of most consequence in pool play.

Yeah, I was pulling for the hokies and for most of the game, looked like theirs. We have the toughest pod imo.

So, who do you pitch? Imo, it should be treated like a midweek ooc game. I certainly wouldn't waste Darden and our best relievers for nothing. Unlike the past with Monte.

that Darden was starting tomorrow night. He may want to rethink that.
Qualk is mistaken. Maybe he needed to listen to backich interview on mickey show tomorrow. We go into it to win but it will be with a midweek starter.

Your first mistake was listening to Qualk. Your second is thinking Bakich is going to burn his weekend rotation for a meaningless, tune-up game. We will try to win it with a midweek starter.......HTH

Hokies game meaningless -
Of course Friday pitchers pretty much spent for the weekend as well - no good came from BC win today.
