Just about, they still have a few exceptions such as buses, planes, hospitals, prisons and homeless shelters, but since I don't know many flying a city bus to a hospital full of homeless prisoners ...

The buses are referring to public transport so private charter are/might be exempt. Curious how they will define team and household.

Just shut the F up already! If you choose to wear a mask great, if you don't great. At this point, it's a personal choice, not political as the right wing nuts have made it. I'm fully vaccinated and still choose to wear a mask in certain situations and will continue to do so. If you've lost a loved one to this virus (yes, it's real), you'd understand.

If you’re saying that people wearing two masks is a myth, just watch any senate or house hearing from the time Fauci said to wear two masks. Democrats can be seen wearing two masks in every hearing. The super racist Joy Reid said on her show, after the CDC said people who are vaccinated don’t have to wear a mask outside, that she was still going to jog with two masks on. I’ve seen many examples of this.
Why would a liberal be any more likely to wear a mask? I guess to show everyone how good of a person they think they are. But there is no science or logical reason to wear one once vaccinated. It’s virtue signaling at it’s finest.
I’m not saying conservatives don’t wear them, but liberals take it to another level. If you haven’t seen that then you’re just not paying attention.

So that’s clearly more than one, and I’m not going to list every time I’ve seen them. People at the store wear them, the drs office, people walking down the street.

Liberals are more likely to get vaccinated and also take precautions (as well as not smoke, drink to excess, be addicted to opioids, or frequent hookers).
90% of democrats have received at least one vaccine shot.
45% of republicans have done the same.
If we get lucky, things will turn out OK. Otherwise, red-state America could be headed for a fifth wave.

My daughter found that wearing double masks virtually eliminated her horrible allergy reactions while working and moving about outside .
I say if the mask is doing any good or you just like it because it matches your shoes then wear it .
Who cares what others think of you in this life is a motto that many should look into adopting.

Makes me think of a lot of comments I've seen of people making fun of someone for wearing a mask while driving alone in their car. I also thought it was odd for someone to do that, but then one of my neighbors mentioned that they would take their dad who is in his 70s to the grocery store once a week because his dad no longer drives. He would sometimes just bring food to his dad, but his dad wanted to get out of the house so he'd take him once per week.
The neighbor said he would wear his mask in the car while driving by himself on his way to pick up his dad. His logic was he felt it would minimize the risk to his dad if he happened to unknowingly have the virus and so he wanted to minimize how much of his spittle and air would be in the car before his dad got in. Now, some would argue that not doing much to minimize the risk, and I'm not here to debate that one way or another, but it is a reminder that people have their own reasons for doing things, and there's usually more to what a person is doing than what appears.

Wearing a mask does nothing to protect the wearer from contracting COVID-19. The point of the mask was to prevent an infected person from transmitting it. The science behind that is dubious at best but to each his own.

This is certainly welcome news. Unfortunately the CDC has done serious damage to their credibility due to poor and inconsistent messaging throughout this ordeal. People will be rolling their eyes at anything the CDC ‘recommends’ for the foreseeable future. Hopefully we’ll have a few decades pass before another major virus comes through and give people time to forget the CDC’s incompetence.

I am aware. Not sure what that has to do with CDC absolutely blowing it at every turn with regards to messaging and ‘following the available science’ and constantly contradicting themselves. I lost all faith when they admitted lying about masks working not working at the onset bc they didn’t want people buying them up and creating shortages for medical professionals. Attempting to manipulate peoples behavior through false information is not a good policy for scientists (or anyone for that matter) if you want people to believe you later on.

CDC has zero credibility and I don’t know why people are still looking to them for guidance as some great authority. They were wrong on predicting cataclysmic death rate for Covid, have been on every side of the mask question from no to yes to indoors to outdoors to one mask, two masks if vaccinated or not vaccinated. They were wrong on “Super Spreader” events like Spring Break and the Super Bowl. They were absolutely unscientific about children going back to school. And this week it comes out they were in cahoots with the teacher unions in coming out with their latest guideline. Not to mention social distancing and quarantine mandates galore unless you want protest or loot for BLM or Antifa, or warehouse all the new illegal immigrants in Texas. Then magically 3 feet is the standard and not 6 feet. Plus Covid/ Schmovid when we want to put infected illegals on a bus to go anywhere they want in the US. I don’t care what the CDC says. No credibility whatsoever.

The CDC has no credibility. Last year they rightfully said that masks don’t work, then when the democrats and media decided to use masks as a weapon against Trump they then jumped on board. They have ridiculous, impractical guidelines, and their director said 2 weeks ago that she is “terrified of the future”. That is totally unscientific and a very poor way to lead.

Personally down here in Florida we shed those masks a long time ago for the most part.
If you want to wear a mask then have at it......It makes it even easier to tell who the gullible folks are.
My observation is that those still wearing masks are by majority made up of folks with 2 digit IQs. Certainly not fact based in any manner but I have not met anyone lately that I respect still wearing one.
What about the sneaky "Delta" or the even sneakier "Lambda" variant. Will your mask or vaccine help you avoid these strains?
At some point you need to say enough is enough and consider the source of this CDC rubbish.

The Lone Ranger wore a mask which protected him about as much as the surgical mask and rags people call mask.
I recommend a Batman mask but my favorite might be Green Lantern. I liked the Green Hornet mask until that not funny fat guy did the GH movie.
