Why do you take an NBA 3 point shot when you only need 2?

Why do you not use your last time out?
Why do we not fire Brownlee?

I was there and that place was rocking. If the 3 had hit would have been an insane moment. But yea, don’t take the 3 there.

He turns the ball over or throws it away before ever taking a junk shot.

Not sure I’ve ever seen anyone “attack the basket” being more out of control than that guy

A great question, with an answer way deeper than that one play.

Our top player - the "perhaps the best player in the ACC" - was a whopping 4-for-16 from the field. 4 for 16. 1 for 6 from 3pt. A whole 6 rebounds. That's our leader. When the pressure's off, we rain 'em in like playground ball. When the pressure's on, we can't hit water with an anvil from a boat. And it's been that way for years, regardless of who is on the court. I think we all know BB is gone. If he's not, there won't be 1000 people for any home game. At least I hope not.
I don't know who any of these guys think they are going to play for "at the next level" (don't you love that term). The way it works in basketball is, if the ball goes through the hoop from the top, that's how a team scores. If you can do that, you can play. If you can't, you can't. None of our guys can, unless it's against Newberry. So I don't know what will make anybody think any of them can do it against the Lakers.

to draw a foul. It’s that simple. If you have even played rec ball you know that.
