owned an ACCT round like that. Very inspiring. Those boys went the distance and never let up.

Big NET bump to boot, but we still have work to do. As good as that was and how close we are today, a loss tonight will drop us. We have to jump teams in front, and the only way to do that is by beating UVA. The maths just don't work otherwise.

Talk of NC State getting in and us not is real. We've owned them this season, but that's about it. Their overall resume is still better because of all of the other play, and that's what the numbers say and the committee will see. Outside of us NC State is 23-7. Outside of owning NC State we're 20-9. It stinks, but they're looking at the whole body not just head to head versus one team.

The good news is that we showed up in Greensboro ready to fight our way in, and I expect no less from our boys tonight. Beat UVA and we're in the field of 64 regardless of what happens next or what anybody else does out there. Lose, and we're a game short. Our guys know that, and they're gonna fight like hell to make it so.

Go Tigers! Beat the Hoos and go for the glory!

That the bracketology clowns preach. Show me ANY other NCAAT team last lost 3 games to the same team who is going to the tourney over the team that crushed them.

I'm not arguing we are 100% in the tournament. I understand the arguments against that.

However, it seems crazy to me to try and make a logical argument when comparing 2 teams with similar (or potentially the exact same) records by arguing that one team would have a better record than the other had they not lost to the other team 3 times.

At *some point* the fact that team A beat team B 3 times (home/road/neutral, none close scores) has to carry some weight. I know, I know, it's not the ONLY thing that matters, but it makes way more sense than trying to argue away those 3 games (and their effects on the individual teams' records)
