commercials ever have Scam Newton in them? They even have Spurrier's wrinkled up old buttocks in there, but no Newton. He ask too much money, you think, or did they not ask HIM to participate?

after an investigation found that he and his family had accepted cash, travel expenses, and a house while he was playing collegiately. He has asked several times to have it reinstated but the Heisman Trust has pretty much said they will not reinstate Reggie Bush's trophy unless and until NCAA restores his records, which isn't likely to happen.

Great point… his play went in a downward spiral about the same time his wardrobe did. I had always thought that not to be a coincidence but I do realize that should not realistically be something that causes bad play. Just strange imo.

Am I the only one who thinks the heisman commercials are cheesy. Or immature for sure. Their education must have stopped at around third grade

I've mostly notice that they have never actually promoted a Clemson QB as a Heisman winner even when Clemson has had several QB's that should have been top Heisman candidates. Young men that would have represented John Heisman, and the award the way that it was meant to be represented, with class, and pride that would have reflected to what a great FB coach that John Heisman was in his time as a college Head Coach!!!

That's why I no longer pay attention to the Hypesman Trophy anymore.
Watson was robbed. How does someone win that award - supposedly for the best player in college football - when they aren't even the best player at their position?
In 2016, Watson won: Davey O'Brien, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm, Manning Awards, all for best QB IN THE NATION. Yet, Jackson wins the Hypesman? It was all HYPE. I have no faith in that award ever since. DeShaun Watson was the best QB in the nation that year, so how was another QB the best player? And people wonder why Clemson people have chips on our shoulders?

I’d like to add this entire series of commercials to the “most overplayed song on the radio” TNet thread. These are so bad. And they keep churning them out every year. To OP’s point, I’d almost prefer they bring the clowns one year and have all the Heisman disgraces pile out of a Toyota. Sure, they’d get sued but at least it would be fun.
