to remember a Tiger player who was named O'Dell. The first Tiger pitcher I remember who made it to the big leagues. Darn good one too.

If not the best Clemson pitcher ever, he certainly falls in the top 5. I knew him, watched him pitch. He was a great one deserving to be remembered in some way at Clemson. Understand he is not much for publicity, though, a shame. Pitched well in the majors for a number of years and made all star game, twice or so. I liked him.
