Well, it may come from taxing their remittences back home. When I worked in Ca. every Friday there were long lines all sending greenbacks back south and no tax was paid on it when earned.

Human trafficking will ###### and would have to change in order to continue its market. Meanwhile, the flow of Central Americans continue, exacerbating the tensions with Mexican residents as theY pass through. The Problem gets pushed to the Mexican Government to put a stop at their southern border.

Our president said Mexico would pay for our wall and the US taxpayer wouldnt pay a dime. Turns out Mexico isnt paying a dime. Thats not trivial. It was his biggest campaign promise. The reason why it matters to me though, is because it was so absurd that he stated such nonsense. It was insane. It was always nuts. I just think he should be held nore accountable. He isnt very credible.

He is getting 200 miles of wall and not the wall he spoke of. Also, Mexico isnt paying for it. We are. Thats the point. I am not even against the wall. It was just insanity that he claimed at almost every event that Mex was paying for it. He even made his supporters yell out that Mexico would pay for it.

I just don't get why a wall, though Trump's not going to get his money. He can loot a bit here or there with Emergency Powers but at the end, good luck laying his hands on the $25 or $30 billion he'd need to build anything substantial. Congress wouldn't fund the durn thing even when Republicans controlled both houses.
Even the border control guys don't want a wall, because in order to build Fortress America like most of the pro-wall guys seem to want - you know, this impenetrable 50-foot Berlin-wall thing complete with spikes, minefields, razor-wire, and probably shark pits with freakin' laser beams (because it really does sound like an Austin Powers Dr. Evil plan) it'd cost something like $200 or $300 billion. The actual cost-effective way would be a lot more tech - especially infrared sensors - mounted on drones - and a lot more boots on the ground in rapid-response 4x4's.
But no, he wants a freakin' wall, and people of a...certain mentality eat it up with a spoon because it makes them feel safe somehow.
If you want to cut illegal border crossings, at least don't throw your money at a medieval-era wall that won't work worth jack. Listen to the guys on the ground asking for stuff that actually will help them.
And oh, yeah, if you make the people an explicit promise - like "Mexico will pay for it" - you'd better figure out how to make it happen. Excusing a campaign promise as "braggadocio" is not...okay. Nobody else in America gets to do that, why should the president?

And what other "form" would that be? You do understand that tariff's are paid by American consumers and businesses right? There is no "tariff check" that Mexico would write to the U.S. Treasury?

You mean the border with Mexico? Where Trump wants to build a wall to stop all the drugs...in spite of 95% of them coming through points of entry?
You know, the border wall that Trump said, "American Taxpayers will never have to pay for a wall, I can assure you, Mexico is going to pay for it."
This is what confuses me about Trump supporters. They invest themselves in Trump's personality. He's a liar and and opportunist and so many of you can't or won't see that because you are personally invested in him. If someone insults Trump, you take it personally.
