They think Dabo and Clemson are “done.” Same thing that was said in 2021 after losing 10-3. Elite status will be regained when the team picks up its pieces and executes. The schedule is set up for that now.
The “done” talk is the media’s game because we crashed the blue blood party when the other bloods are starving and they have used so many dirty tricks along the way. But, Clemson is never done, fools!
Clemson got whooped by Georgia and it may have stung to watch but these guys will be back at it with a better handle on what they just lost.
People posting nonstop about this supposed downfall who are actually Clemson fans need to sit back, take a breath, and support your team. Piling on with the a55e5 of the media and other teams is a factor of a downfall (when your own people turn on you).
Go Tigers! Regroup and Beat App State!

Bro what are you talking about, the ACC looks like trash. If we beat down NC st and FSU that’s awesome but that ain’t going to make us elite. We may make the playoff but that doesn’t mean we’re elite it means we’ll get blown out. We can get back to being elite though and I think the recent staff changes show Dabo wants to get back there but it’s going to take more change.

I said we were "done" in 2021 and that still remains true 4 years later. UNTIL DABO decides to change this program will not be ELITE

In 2021 the Tigers went 10-3, so you could argue it was still a good year. Perhaps the loss to Georgia was excusable. But the losses to NC State and Pitt were quite disappointing, and the Tigers didn't even make it to the conference championship game, much less the playoffs. They did win a very lackluster bowl game. Then the next year, Clemson went undefeated in ACC play and won the conference title. But they lost every non-cupcake out of conference game they played, including a drubbing on the road at Notre Dame, the disastrous loss to the coots at home, and a bowl game humiliation at the hands of Tennessee. Again, no playoff. Then last year, the Tigers had their worst year in over a decade, going 4-4 in ACC play losing to Duke, NC State, Miami, and Florida State. Once again no ACC championship game appearance and no playoff spot.
So I guess it depends on your definition of "done." Clemson has still been a well above .500 football team. But they haven't been an elite national contender since 2020. They haven't been nearly as good as they were from 2015-2020, and I'd argue they haven't been nearly as good as the 2011-2014 teams either. There has been a substantial drop-off.

They think Dabo knows what he is doing, our program is fine, and fans who don’t agree are spoiled and expecting too much.

No, those are the loyal fans that support their team instead piling on with the outsiders. You seem like an outsider except for basketball which is why people give you a hard time.
Clemson will most likely not win a NC this year but how many miserable “fans” are white fisting their keyboards trying make a difference with their anger right now?
When I read these clown journalists and their hit pieces, then read some weak minded fans echo those same pessimisms, I see a downfall precipitated by a fan base that turns on itself.

You can tell the fans that have their heads buried deep in the sand and don’t want to see the facts that we are declining as program, because our coach thinks he knows more than everyone else in the country as the landscape in college football continues to pass him by.
