Well, historically Clemson has had an ACC Championship to play but we know more often than not this was the last game of the season for Coots.

Maybe Beamer is a little smarter than I’ve given him credit for. He seems to understand that it is a foregone conclusion that the coots will never play in an SEC championship game. But then he says the Tigers have an SEC defensive line. Our DL is almost always top tier and it has absolutely nothing to do with the SEC, except that we out-recruit them year in and year out to do it.
I think he’s a good fit for the coots.

SEC championship is a week after this game…
Come to South Carolina…you’ll have less games to play every year….
They used to be home for Christmas and New Year’s most seasons as well - but the ridiculous amount of bowl games solved that problem…
5 or 6 wouldn’t get you into a bowl game back then…

Yep, at usuc you are almost guaranteed to be home Christmas and New Years watching the games with your family. That is a plus if being home with your family during the holiday season is more important than being with your teammates playing the game that you love. Just tell your family the truth, that you and your teammates just wasn't good enough to earn any post season games to play, and that's the reason you're at home sitting on the couch watching the teams play that knocked you out of post season play....
Go Tigers, beat the coot and send them home to watch post season play!!!

That idiot thinks the best days of gamecock football are ahead for them. Does he not realize they are losing 90% (their words) of their offense and have a woeful defense and a more difficult schedule next year. Not to mention the decommitments and transfers.

Came to the comments to say the same thing brother. I mean when you really think about it, what does that even mean? That the same players the SEC gets from the same exact high schools everyone else in the country gets their players are somehow magically transformed into something that no other player is? Just utterly absurd logic.
Clemson recruits better than 95% better than not just SEC teams, but the whole country. And that is factual statistics. We are ranked with the 5th most talented roster in the country per 247. So of course our players are good. It again begs the question, what does it even mean that we have a “SEC” type D-line.
Sorry for the tangent, just cannot stand when people say that. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
