I wonder what went on that made the NC State coach give DW

that little punch/shove? It looked like a fairly innocuous play.
The coach is lucky DW and Clemson didn't make a big deal out of it and that the camera really didn't catch it up close or the national media would be all over him.
All I could figure out is that DW ran a little further out of bounds than the coach thought was necessary.

Dw4 pointed in his face or flipped the bird
Coach shoved him in the shoulder from what i saw

look... you have this whole thing wrong. Most everyone is aware by now that Deshaun can telepathically speak to his offense. What most of you don't know is that he also sometimes telepathically speaks to opposing coaches. That is what caused this little event. This talent that Deshaun has is also one of the reasons Spurrier just hung his visor up.

hand. DW turned and pointed in the guy's face and said something, and then the guy shoved him on the shoulder as he turned to walk away. I don't think DW shot him the bird, but obviously we have no idea what kind of verbal exchange took place.

of thing - who lost his job! Loved it and when I went to grad. school there a few years later, I found out that Woody was very unpopular with many of the admin. and teachers and some students for his "dictator"-like personality.

...Coach's body was blocking the camera, but it sure looked like it just seeing how the ball shot out at a weird angle. DW didn't comment on that, so just speculation on my part.
