Clemson fans not going ? Or LSU fans not going......I would have thought this ticket would be better than gold. Tampa was crazy......seams like this year it’s not an issue. Hopefully it’s the LSU fans not buying but I doubt that. It’s their home field.

Our school district has this horrible habit of scheduling exams the day of and day after the NC. Fortunately we got away with going to Tampa because of an ice storm that canceled school the whole next week.

Less time in between but Tampa tickets dipped down to a decent amount less than now before the game. It was not until the weekend they started going back up and then skyrocketed the day of the game.

They definitely got down to the $650-700 range (before fees) when the tickets were released to the teams, but then started creeping back up when the inventory went down. Lots of people missed out on that because tickets were so cheap the year before in Arizona, and people just assumed that face was overpriced and the price would keep dropping like it had the previous year.
Many people showed up in Tampa without tickets, and bought up the remaining inventory. I expect similar to happen in NOLA, but the longer wait time between the semi and Natty makes it seem not as bad. People are waiting to buy, hoping prices will drop. Idk if it'll get as bad as Tampa was, but I could easily see that happening by the weekend.

Difference in this and Tampa is very few brokers shorted this one. So, there are not brokers out there who need 100-200 tickets to fill orders whereas there were lots of those in Tampa. Also, the CFP signed a deal with one broker for thousands of seats after Tampa so there is more inventory to move through in general.
2-3 days before Tampa, there were maybe 500 tickets on Stubhub. This year I expect there will be 2500-3000. BUT, that is still not much for a game this big. I expect the market to increase this week as well (for uppers).
