That includes games against the #4 and #18 teams in the country, both of which are averaging over 400 ypg.
Dabo had every right to be pizzed at half time yesterday, but don't expect him to fire the leader of the #8 defense any time soon.

It surprises me that so many of our fans hate Wes Goodwin.
He has improved immeasurably since early in the 2022 season. Our defense is playing at a very high level this year; our first game defensive mistakes are largely over.
We have many fans that judge a D-coordinator’s abilities based on his physique and demeanor. These are the fans who admire Will Muschamp types.

A Venables led D would have stoned Travis yesterday. Duke wouldn’t have known what hit them! This D should be top 4 and probably top 2!
#8 is a disappointment.

the defense for sure. He needs to look at the three pointing right back at him. This is all on him. The culture, the decision making, the recruiting philosophy, and probably the worst of all, the coach speak. Saying this young group will win or two NCs after saying all last year that is NOT a goal for the program is an insult. Not the guy we ever knew. Sickening is right.

The Wes Goodwin hate makes no sense. I think he’s been fine. There are a multitude of problems with this program. Wes isn’t one of them.

as anybody with the way things have gone this year. I mouthed off big time the first two games. But I settled down, and we have made real progress since then, and I realize we are a really good, talented team, even if we don't make the playoff or win the conference. The answer is not to strat chopping off heads or starting the 3rd-string QB, or any of the other insane, drastic measures that have been suggested. Good times lie ahead for Clemson football (if we get the conference alignment thing figured out, but that's a whole nother can-o-worms!).
