We lost one OL, one DL, one TE, one RB, 2 QB, 2 WR, 1 LB, one safety, one CB on the depth chart. We have better returning depth than we have had in a long time. Every where but QB we should have more talent than what we lost. QB is really the only question I have about next years team. That and DL coaches. We may have a RS freshman or a freshman at QB, but I do not expect a freshman to start anywhere else, maybe punter. We lost great players to the NFL, but all great teams do. We have recruited well. Only OhioSt and Alabama (maybe FSU) recruit a lot better. Our facilities will be on par with the best in the country.
DW4 is a great talent and a great leader, Boulware was a great leader. We have leaders still but their leadership will be missed, I have to reconcile myself to the possibility that we will never see a QB as good as DW4 again. I hope to be surprised that we do.

we are losing more talent at DT than we are getting, Center is a HUGE ??, TE will likely be a downgrade next year, as will RB, we have a stable of good WR's but no one at Mike's level and Scott will be missed significantly. LB may be an upgrade overall (talent yes but time will tell), Safety is uncertain but suspect it may be a slight downgrade, there is no Tank at CB unless someone emerges.
DW is impossible to replace - water is wet but man, it's been fun watching him.
We will have a lot of talent but until someone can produce, talent isn't a measuring stick for wins.
I think we will have a very good team next year but likely a small step back.
By the way, the Punting is impossible not to improve.

getting at most positions. Would think that would be the same for most teams. Experience usually always trumps potential.
