Do you not think playing Texas A and M is just a slow pull towards conference alignment into the Big 12? I mean if you think about it, it just makes too much sense. The test will be if we add Missouri to our schedule by 2022. That will be your second sign. And when it happens I’ve screenshat this so I can prove I was the first one to see it coming. Oh and don’t be surprised if we get a commitment from someone in the next 120 days. I know something you don’t and I’ll be sure to remind you afterwards.

I don't think that will ever happen. But I would love to see the power 5 get fed up with the over paid NCAA, and pull out making up a true power 5 something like the NCAA governing but without the crooked and bias ways of the NCAA!!! Making the conferences out to be the North, South, East, West, and Central, making up a Power Five alliance of championship Football!!!

I think it's more likely A&M is conspiring with the SEC to pull us in. We've played Bama the last 3 years straight, Auburn and Georgia a whole bunch of times throughout history, and haven't missed a year playing the coots since they joined up. Gotta be what's going on here.

It was an honest question. Does Clemson want out of the ACC bad enough to pay it? Personally I think the ACC is a much better conference then the Big 12.

I just wish we could get WVU from the Big 12, add UCF, and then have Notre Dame finally give in to being a full time member and bring Penn St in and realign to an ACC North and ACC South.
Having Clemson, FSU, Louisville, Miami, Georgia Tech, UCF, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, WVU, and Penn St would be the basis of a very solid football and basketball conference. Especially when you consider Duke, UNC, Pitt, and NCST.
Then you round out the league with Boston College, Wake Forest, Virginia, and Syracuse. That would be 9 teams per division. Yes it is big, but unless you drop charter members or drop Pitt and Syracuse there’s nothing you can do. Can you imagine the competition? I don’t think the SEC would really have anything on the ACC.
