Maybe Texas and Oklahoma will get a little better once they officially put that SEC patch on their jersey…..or not.

not sure what that gif is implicating, but he's right... you can't count tex and ok losing as sec losses when they're not in the sec yet. i mean, if two current sec teams (that were leaving for the big12 in 2 years) lost their bowls games, you wouldn't count those as big12 losses,........ right?
but, i get it.. you're just taking a shot at the sec.. granted, it was a weak shot w/ no factual basis,.. but, just a unsubstantiated shot.

i read it all... which is why i said " i get it.. you're just taking a shot at the sec".. but, a "shot" loses a lot of it's luster when it has zero truth to it.
it's like sayin'.. "ya momma's so fat __________________________________" to someone w/ a skinny mom.

SEC (including OK and TX, both of which got the memo) don’t really care about winning unless they are in CFP … or unless they lose in the CFP to a non-SEC opponent.
After all, the SEC teams ‘can’t get it up’ unless playing a truly worthy opponent (which means another SEC team).

We really only need to worry about the SEC school we play tonight. So far we are 0-1 against the SEC Least.

Would it really be a knock against the SEC that the 2nd highest ranked ACC team had to kick a field goal with under a minute to go to beat a team that went 6-6 including 3-6 in the Big 12 during the regular season?

Does our 2 point win over Texas A&M

take away anything from our national championship in 2018? What about our 6 point win over Troy in 2016? If Georgia wins it all this year do you think they are going to hand the trophy back because they struggled with Missouri?

No, nor did I ever think the performance of the rest of the ACC took anything away from Clemson during our CFP run.
I was just putting into perspective about the level of teams playing each other in bowls. Not that Texas or Oklahoma should count for the SEC at this point anyway, but in each of those games last night you had Oklahoma and Texas playing teams that finished near the top of their conferences.
I just get a little more uneasy talking about how other conferences are doing right now in a year where the 2 teams that played for the ACC Championship and went a combined 14-2 in the ACC(not counting the ACC Championship) have a combined total of 4 OOC losses on the season including a combined 0-4 record vs. P5/ND teams.

What some of you guys don’t get is that my main point is to poke fun at the SEC and the media not go into a discussion about conference strength. If I had any literal point to my original post it would be this: There is a lot more parity in CFB than what the media would lead us to believe and the SEC is not an invincible super conference. I have fun with sports. The entertainment, the smack talk (all in fun), the adrenaline rush of being at a game, etc. Debating and arguing over sports in not my thing anymore. I hope every Tiger fan enjoys a big win in the OB tonight.
Go Tigers!

100%! But, as we all know, it just means more if it's the mighty sec.

They will definitely have a chance to get better once that SEC cash starts flowing in.
