We're having a spot of Friday fun.

I'm with BloodbeOrange®, not biblically, and am leaning toward a coaching issue. Like theChad used to say, we're going to practice 4-5 plays until we get them right and then we're going to practice them again.

Proof read and then when you think you're done, do it again, you know, if you're going to get bag and put your name to it.

I appreciate the faith driven atmosphere at Clemson but when Jesus said to turn the other cheek he wasn't talking about on the football field. On the football field all that goes out the window and you are out there to win. We are bringing a pillow fight to a gun fight and wondering why we are getting killed. Man up, go pick a fight with a brick wall and not stop til you beat the tar out of it! Go Tigers!!

This falls on numb deaf ears. No one trusts or believes anything they hear out of Dabo or the team. We’ve seen the same song and dance for the past four years. Prior to this year, we’ve been pretty good. The team would basically have to win out to match the 9-4 season we had two years ago. I think we all won national championships. We are nowhere closer to that now. We don’t wanna hear excuses. There’s no trust. I don’t see this team achieving much. Cade Klubnik has been horrible.

Speak for yourself. No one? I trust and believe in Dabo and the team. Have we struggled? Mightily. But, I am a Clemson man and Clemson fan. I will remain so. I’ve been to all five championship games and hope to see another. The key word is “hope”.
If you expect to win the national championship every year, sorry, you will be disappointed. Personally, I’m disappointed in people like you and others that can only whine, throw stones, gnash teeth, yell fire everyone, give up on the team, etc.

I think that his approach worked best when he had a "bad cop" to play off of. Whether it be Morris or Venables Dabo CAN bring the heat but thats not who he is day to day. So you have the assistants bring the fire and brimstone and Dabo is there as the cool hand to lead them through.

Now that we don't have a hard A in the building it doesn't hit as hard. Tom Allen MIGHT be that guy long term but those guys are too used to the country club. He needs time to mold his players his way and hopefully he can bring in more of HIS coaches (more than just his son)

So you may have eternal life. He healed me when I almost died from kidney failure after a doctor gave me, after back surgery medication, before and after the surgery it was a miracle I lived, afterwards I was using a hover round and walker and sleeping in a hospital bed for 4 years.

Jesus healed me in an instant and changed my life forever. He is always the answer for eternal freedom, healing, love, joy, strength and peace.

We need to be thankful Dabo knows the answer and is humble enough to share that with these young men that will need Him for a lifetime here & eternity in Heaven.

We are shaped through our trials the promise in this verse states, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who are called according to his purpose".

This promise is specifically for those who are in a loving relationship with God and are following His divine plan for their lives.

The ultimate "good" God works for is the spiritual transformation of believers. His goal is to make them more like His Son, ultimately to glorify Him.

Dabo knows how to win and he’s teaching his team how to overcome trials.

He seems quite selective in his healing. My wife was loved by all and supported by prayers. She spent 5 years in the Valley of the Shadow and died of renal cell cancer. Just as the medical professionals told us. She survived that long due to a wonderful Muslim oncologist.

You and Dabo need to spare us the sermons and act like real Christians.

This team is only going to go as far as the QB takes us. Unless we decide to start being a heavy running team first and limit Cade to about 20-25 pass attempts. That's what we did against ND a couple years ago and unleashed Mafah. Until we start sustaining and finishing drives with points and winning the time of possession, nothing will change. The defense hasn't been great, but they have to be helped out some by the offense. They aren't going to hold everyone to 14 or less to get a W. We have to start scoring 30+ again

Right? Who cares if these overpaid coaches and players lose every game this season and suck next year too? As long as we have open dialogue and in touch with our feelings, that’s all that matters. I say more emphasis should be placed on these type of meetings versus hard hitting practice and violence.

I’ll tell ya what’s broken. Everyone has allowed a football coach at a public university to exclusively recruit Protestant Christians and give scholarships out to those whose beliefs align with their own. Dabo has created a self-satisfied monoculture who feels entitled to win but is not truly hungry for it. The best athletes and coaches will always prioritize the best football programs. Like it or not, this is a religious cult whose main priority is their faith, so winning at football can only be secondary to that. You can’t stay competitive this way when the game isn’t a faith based game. You have to keep changing and improving. Holding steady to your beliefs doesn’t change the outcome for the better. It’s a sinking ship, and people keep throwing money at it while it stinks I mean sinks.

I just don’t see this team as being player led as Dabo states.

that meeting was for them and them only. Why this article, that can't accurately represent it to us. None of us, including the journalists, was there. I get it - journalists trying to do their job. OK, whatever. This type of content as you can see just gets
worked over and misconstrued, and everyone's opinion about God and so forth. Pretty heavy stuff, most mis-interpreted or all twisted up anyway. But this article just invited more insult on the team and staff. Sad.

My take on it is have your meetings, find your insides and your motivation, they are important and necessary. But the foundation of this season was already built in the offseason, particularly. How the players and staff prepared, and even handled the rat poison floating all about, day after day, week after week. I even commented in more of a humorous way about it all. Did we have leadership in all these areas, or was it more about globetrotting and spending time at the bank managing all the money coming in that wasn't even based on performance? I don't really know. All I can do is look at the fruits on the field.

I "Heard" things but don't know all the truth, the insides and out. I heard that a Vandy player, a team Leader, was all about business and work and nothing else. I won't say more because I don't really know, but did we have this from our team leaders? All you can do at this point is look at the "fruit on the tree" and if "seed was sown" at the right times and in the right way, then it grows into something productive (oh yeah, the God thing again).

Out

First, I'm a Tiger grad and fan. And I don't like losing at all.

Dabo has said from the beginning that his primary purpose is to develop "men"...better husbands, fathers, employees. In my 76 years, I've learned that when in good times and especially in the tough, horrible moments of life, the foundation of my faith is what held strong and gave me the courage to press on. And as I jokingly quote "my favorite verse of Scripture", I learned through those times that "it came to pass". That's right, it didn't come to stay.....this (whatever it is that I faced) too will pass, and I was better for persevering through it. Our team will remember this year and lean on its lessons during their adult struggles. Dabo is still developing men.

Finally, I'm a Tiger grad and fan. And I don't like losing at all. But life deals us these hands, and as much as I don't like 'em, I've learned to tighten up, trust my faith and my Lord, and persevere - looking for the lesson that I need to learn for forthcoming struggles that will certainly follow.

And Billy B. and his girl is getting the Heels ready for their rebound since they smell the blood in the water!! lol Hopefully Dabo and his boys watched Tony E. and the WHOOOOOS friday nite go head to head with the Nols and beat them. And then to follow that up on Sat afternoon the Turkey trot boys from VT showed how a new Coach can get a losing Team back on track!! Maybe the Tigs learned from these 2 games.
