Yes, but people completely misunderstand how the CFP payout works.

Each team in the semifinal gets $6 million. There is no payout for the title game--only expenses ate covered.

Each conference with a tie in to a NY6 bowl (i.e. P5 conference), receives $74 million.

That means the ACC gets $74 million this year. They only miss out on the additional $6 million.

Actually the conference gets that money and then is shared with the other conference members
