Agree, but I doubt we would get invited without a win vs the coots.

I say no and here's why....

winning a league Championship and a BCS Bowl will ALWAYS be more important than beating $CU. Consequently, the two ACCCG games against GT and VT and last years Orange Bowl were all bigger games...at least IMO.

I would tend to agree but because they have beat us three years in a row beating SCar is more important. I also think recruiting will benefit more from this win than the ACC Champ game. Unless we beat SCar the BCS will not happen so it is more important IMO.

I don't mean to downplay the importence of this years game..

becasue a win not only restores the natural world order, at 11 - 1, a win likely earns Clemson an at-large bid to a BCS Bowl.

Those definitely were important games but the ACC has become a joke to most of college football. When Duke could possibly play in the ACC championship, the conference is weak to say the least. Scar has won 3 in a row. I live in the Myrtle Beach area and seem to be surrounded by Scar fans. Four in a row would make us completely adopt "has been" status. Plus, if we truly can't compete with the "mighty SEC" How will we ever win another NC?

Last year's Orange Bowl was Biggest

But since we lost this now becomes biggest.
As others have pointed out, ACCC doesn't mean what it used to.
Beating SCAR means SEC domination in 2012 and a chance to prove that we belong in a BCS bowl regardless of our conference.
Once we beat Scar, the BCS bowl moves to be the most important game we have played in over 10 years.

This will give us ALL the momentum going into next year and recruiting. Also, will start making bal sac start thinking about an exit.
Once he is gone, they will be back in the dump.
