If Miami, VT, GT, and NCST were holding up their end of the football bargain, we would not be having all this worry. The problem with the ACC is CU and FSU are getting it done and everyone else is lagging. Losing MD does not move the ACC needle AT ALL! We are losing a mediocre school. Let's upgrade where we can and UCONN gets more publicity for Women's hoops than Maryland does on all their sports combined. Louisville is the next best choice. They are also and upgrade over MD. Either way, we are going to improve as a conference, but the big picture is those other schools need to get in gear and be relevant. If we have 4 ranked teams instead of 2, no one would care about losing MD. The schools in the ACC that should be compeititive in football are not. That is the issue here.
