You certainly know the truth, there is no way he wasn't ready until recently. Players NEVER see the light later in their careers. Lets just pretend the games he's played and not played this well.

He is the best of the bunch against the run. The same thing can’t be said on passing downs. His snap count has increased as his level of play has increased.
He came into school overweight and it has taken a couple of years to get his body right.

he’s on track. We have a lot of really good DTs. Hard to get a ton of snaps. He’s played well recently. Watching the replay of UNC though, the announcers incorrectly gave him credit for Woods strip. Also gave credit to someone else on another play Woods made. Only so many snaps when you have Davis Ruke Woods Page Capehart Williams. To think Burley would have gotten snaps instead of RS without the injury is crazy to consider.
