I know it was something along those lines because Clemson 'stashes' their academic casualties there so often. Anybody know the deal...I looked at their website, but didn't see anything but HS Football listed.

1--If the school was closing, Grantham wouldn't be going there.
2--If they dropped football, we've lost a "farm team". I looked at their list of schools that their athletic kids were accepted to as Archie mentions below & they are all over the USA at all levels...didn't look at "regular graduates".
I'm assuming I heard/read this stuff dealing with Cordrea Tankersley signing (finally).

wow, they are dropping football. they have had such a positive effect for so many young men, I wonder what is behind this. I hate to see them drop our pipeline, but I hate to see what this does for prospects. understand that what they do is help football players enter college, but what they ultimately DO is make boys into men.

“The landscape for postgraduate athletes and football programs has changed,” Hargrave said in a news release.
“This includes colleges’ desire to have their student-athletes on campus by spring semester, NCAA changes and restrictions on colleges hosting postgraduate football teams on their campuses, and eliminating competitition with the college junior-varsity teams.”
Hargrave’s post-graduate basketball program remains intact.
