Her full given name at birth was Nimarata Nikki Randhawa. She has been referred to as "Nikki" her entire life.
She changed her last name to Haley when she got married.

Our road quality has been dog $hit for the last 25+ years, spanning over at least 4-5 different governors representing both parties.
But yeah, Haley not expanding Medicaid somehow magically made our roads extra dog $hitty overnight.

Haley refused to support the road improvement bills put forth when she was governor because they ALL had a bunch of pet projects that benefitted the sponsors of the bill politically attached to them. She said many times she would support road improvement bills only if they didn’t have a lot of pork attached. Good for her. The problem is most people don’t recognize ethical and honest behavior from politicians because you don’t see it very often.

She's obviously an American considering she was born in Bamberg, SC. While she was Governor, I was still working out of state so I didn't get to vote for her or any SC Governor candidate during those years, but I knew she was of Indian descent.

Why I think there is a good chance you are trolling:
You are a regular over on the Politics bored. Nikki has oft been discussed over there as well as Trump’s name calling of “Nimrod” (and why he chose to call Nikki such).

I think common sense isn’t common. Nikki was the worst governor in the history of SC. She refused to repair any roads. She refused to maintain any roads. Many beautiful secondary roads for so overgrown I almost didn’t recognize them any more. The worst thing she did was the gas tax. It’s set to increase every year until the end of time. Sc gas used to be so much cheaper than most neighboring states. Not anymore. Thanks Nikki!
