Totally. On the one hand, I give Carter props for trying to step up and lead. However, after every loss, or poor defensive showing, he's repeated the song with a twist here or there.

But imo the numbers tell the story. 59 and 95th. Both of these numbers have progressively gotten worse the last 4 years. And honestly, our competition in whole has regressed during those years as well. That's not a good combination.

Words. Have to go way way back to find a defense worse than this one wearing the paw. Statistically or visually. In every way. Most of these guys probably weren’t born. We need many many recruits.

What exactly do you guys want him to say? He has been a great representative of Clemson for years and this season has been disappointing.

He may have made similar comments before, but I appreciate a young man trying to step up and lead. He believes they can still have a good season and so do I.

Not much season left; why not just support our team and hope for the best?
