How such and such is going to win the Heisman. And how team X is now the team of the century.
Can we pump some brakes on Colorado? “It’s unbelievable how DS has turned this team around”. It’s one freaking game.
And one more thing. I’m old school. How you win use to be more important than just winning. Why this man gets all the praise and Dabo is vilified every chance they get is beyond me. Just sickening.

Yep. It's getting to be a big turn off... I'd rather just sit outside and

Listen to good music outside. College football is gone. It use to be Johnson from x high school. Now it's Johnson the transfer from Florida, before that he was at Nebraska. It's ridiculous. I think I'm about done... I'll check back Monday night

It’s not so hard to turn teams around nowadays with the transfer portal. He ran off half the team. I’m not surprised they are better. You can just buy a better team now. I will give him credit though - at least their bought team plays better unlike Texas A&M and some others.

Very true. The transfer portal can turn a bad team around much quicker than in previous years, when a coach would have to build a staff, recruit like crazy, develop players, etc. Dabo wants a developmental program. So far, Dabo's way has worked beautifully. BTW, I suppose not much is made about teams that rely on the portal and do not succeed. We only hear about success stories.

Some of the better programs, ALA and GA come to mind, actually take advantage of both. It doesn't always have to be one or the other.

Good point. I think the core of a team should be recruits, with supplemental portal players filling gaps.

Colorado was a 21 point underdog today, so their win is a big deal.

They also had some incredible individual performances, such as Shedeur Sanders completing 81% of his passes and throwing for 510 yards.
I haven’t seen anyone before or after their game today predicting that they are an amazing team or declaring that they are back. But I have seen people who are certainly impressed.
Let people be excited.

I agree. I do think they got a break by starting with a very weak TCU defense. But, the victory is important for the Colorado program, no doubt. Good for them.
