and yes, it is amazing. I mean really amazing. If they can get it a little smaller and lighter, and, get pro sporting events with cameras from all angles where you can pick where you are watching from, I would shell out some serious bucks for this thing.

It will get there, just how long is the question.

I would not recommend buying it now, but I highly recommend setting up a demo. Wow.

I've always said Occulus was Zuck's best purchase, but they haven't monetized it yet with live events, now they have Apple entering the mix. I don't know if the constraint is pure bandwidth or broadcast rights, but it seems like it shouldn't be that hard to get a 360-degree field-of-vision camera on the 50 yard line or half-court, which you pay $XX to stream.
