Why is Clemson not the home team being the higher seed? Shouldn’t earning a higher seed by your play doing the regular season allow you certain advantages like being the home team against lower seeds.

Clemson is getting some good contact on Miami's Gage Ziehl early, who went nine innings with 15 strikeouts (no BBs) and 1 ER in a win in Coral Gables over Clemson earlier this season. Ziehl is up to 39 pitches through 2 IP.

Purify maybe could've done something with those breaking balls up in the zone, but they werent easy pitches to stay on top of hence him fouling them all up and out of play. Mathes got nothing at all to hit.
