But still doesn’t change the fact that two guys struck out with the bases loaded. Got to put the ball in play in a tight game.

I agree. Hitting into a double play there would’ve sucked but at a minimum you gotta put something in play. This team was so good at hitting with RISP early this season but can’t find it right now. Baseball is a streaky game and you just need the right streak at the right time.

This! All I want to see is the plate approaches that the guys had early in tbe season. Before we started hitting HR's this team would have feasted in the last game today. They seem to be looking for walks ( a lot!). Watching a ton fastballs and being forced to hit from behind I'm tbe count. Most aren't leveling off anymore just chasing the bombs. It a discussion forum. Happy we won but the trend of K's is alarming.
